Brilliant video! Congratulations !
Fantastic video! What else can a good christian do to deprave freedom or other liberties? This is a great example of what Australia should be, a nation of Christian values. For the bible, (and our great moralist oppressor) is our greatest guide for good, clean living!
Great work guys.
Marriage is only between man and woman.
Jesus christ is our one and only god!
This is a great video
I respect the courage of the ACL to maintain their conservative values in the face of politically correct censorship, explicit hatred and disdain for their position. I don’t quite agree with them about their political stance, but I respect their opinion, and would love the chance to have this issue debated rationally and thoroughly.
Great Video, however there are many married couples, like myself, who can not biologically have children. We are ready to adopt in the name of our lord amen.
Australia’s Marriage Act rightly acknowledges the real nature of marriage. It recognises marriage as a unique relationship between two people from the two genders existing in human nature – as depicted in the video. This is how it is even in the two largest countries – China and India. Technically there is no marriage when only one gender is involved in a relationship.
Though some may try to ignore the gender factor or try to corrupt it by another definition, faithful Christians cannot reject our Lord’s teachings on this matter. If they do then they cannot claim to be in union with Jesus who said that it was for this reason – marriage – that God made us male and female at the beginning of creation. One ex-political leader (who apparently studied theology), and a supporter of same-gender ‘marriage’, tried to confuse people by saying Christians should follow their conscience on this matter. Why did she say conscience? Because she knew that that her views contradicted our Lord’s! Conscience is clear only when it corresponds to the Master’s teachings.
Why do we want to make God’s law’s into government laws, does God’s law need the justification of human law for it to stand?
Why do we Christians care about political power when we have access to the supernatural, miracle working power of the Holy Spirit “living within us”? Surely if we spend our time making more and more disciples of all nations we would need to worry less and less about convincing society that Jesus’s way is the only way, thus we wouldn’t need to have this debate because people would hear from Jesus himself on this issue. We know what Jesus will say to them, we just need to introduce Australia to him!
Jesus’ announcement of the Kingdom of God was never played out as an earthy regime change. One day when Jesus comes again there will not be a human government, it will all be on God’s shoulders! Jesus resisted the push for political power, and it’s not implied in the great commission at all!
To summarize, Why do we want political power when:
a) God’s Law stands regardless of what our human laws are!
b) We have the power of the Holy Spirit within us which will change people’s hearts with miraculously empowered truth.
c) Jesus himself steered clear of it, and;
d) Human Governance is all going to pass away in the end anyway…
Aren’t we just flogging a dead horse with the pursuit of political power?
