Christians argue for family values, social justice, genuine progress for the aborigines, the protection of the unborn, the young and the aged, because these values make for a better life, wrote Sydney Archbishop Cardinal George Pell in last weekend’s Sunday Telegraph.

Analysing the recent ‘2010 Make it Count’ event, which including Christians from many different denominations, Cardinal Pell said that happily most of the hostility between Protestants and Catholics has disappeared and the significant tension today is between the Judaeo-Christian view and those who are secular or even anti-religious.
