This week on Voice for Values we discussed several successes with two major ethical issues facing Australians: euthanasia and the sexualisation of children.
ACL spokesperson for the dignity of women and children, Wendy Francis, discusses a NSW Parliamentary inquiry’s recommendation to introduce internet filtering in Australia.
“…. it protects children because when they get a device; when they get a phone or an iPad or whatever sort of device they’re getting, the default will be that they receive a clean feed, how good is that?!”
Also speaking with ACL managing director, Lyle Shelton, is Paul Russell, the founder and director of Hope, a coalition of groups and individuals who oppose the legalisation of euthanasia and assisted suicide. Paul discusses last week’s narrow defeat of a dangerous euthanasia bill in the South Australian Parliament.
