MEDIA RELEASE

18 August 2015

Hilton Hotels & Resorts have today announced that they have changed their policy in order to remove all on-demand pornographic videos from all of its properties, worldwide.

The Australian Christian Lobby applauds this decision to recognise the harm caused by porn and to no longer seek profits from hardcore pornography, which by nature facilitates sexual exploitation.

ACL’s spokesperson on the dignity of women, Wendy Francis, spoke to the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane this morning who confirmed that they will be porn-free within 3 months.

“We publicly thank Hilton Hotels & Resorts for their decision to create a safe and positive environment for all customers.

“Hilton has taken a stand against sexual exploitation. Pornography not only contributes to the demand for sex trafficking, which is a serious concern in hotels, but it also contributes to child exploitation, sexual violence, and lifelong porn addictions.
