A former pastor who oversees quality control in a pharmaceutical company in Launceston, has been appointed as ACL’s new part-time Tasmanian Director.

Mark Brown (pictured) began working two days a week for the ACL on Monday September 27. His appointment follows on from former Tasmanian Director Nick Overton’s recent departure to pursue theological studies in Canada after five years of dedicated commitment in bringing a Christian influence to bear on the Tasmanian parliament.

Mark has a diploma of theology and creative ministry and moved to Launceston from New Zealand 17 years ago. He has scientific qualifications and will continue in his current quality control position for three days a week.

With a number of concerning issues on the parliamentary agenda of the Tasmanian Government, ACL welcomes someone of Mark’s commitment and ability to the team. Tasmanian supporters can contact Mark on 0408 850 629 or at mark.brown@acl.org.au.
