Viewpoint exists as a forum to discuss important and usually controversial issues of our day.

Its purpose is to provide for a Christian view point to be placed against other perspectives on an issue, and we do this confident that the Christian view will stand on its merits. On some issues it provides a forum for competing Christian perspectives which we hope will inform readers in coming to their own position. We purposely choose writers with contrasting and often opposing views, but who are experts in their fields.

Each edition contains solicited columns and feature articles on politics, justice, and society, as well as peer-reviewed essays on selected topics.

Unlike many online and printed opinion pieces in the mainstream media, Viewpoint enables writers to comprehensively address an issue and substantiate their position with appropriate referencing.
