About 2,000 Victorians rallied for the March for the Babies on Saturday. Weekend shoppers, surprised by the peaceful marchers with police escort, pulled out their smartphones to film the beautiful spectacle making its way through the Melbourne streets.
The March was led by young pro-lifers who demonstrate that the pro-life cause gets younger every year. We are on the right side of history.
That this march was so well attended, reinforces the disgust and disappointment that many Victorians have for Victoria’s dreadful abortion laws which allow abortions up to birth.
It is estimated that up to 20,000 babies are aborted in Victoria every year.
The failure of the mainstream media to not report this event at all, demonstrates truth censoring of the young pro-life movement.
Guest speaker Julie Robinson, speaking from the steps of Parliament House, said that Heath Department statistics reveal that two healthy late term babies, who have nothing physically wrong, are terminated each week in Victoria,
As John Calvin said-
“If it seems more horrible to kill a man in his own house, than in a field...it ought surely to be deemed more atrocious to destroy a fetus in the womb before it has come to light.”
Next year the March for the Babies will take place just before the Victorian State election. A massive turnout is expected as a young pro-life generation look to elect MPs who will wind back Victoria’s callous abortion laws.
