Capacity crowd at Brisbane event

A capacity crowd of 1500+ gathered in Brisbane’s beautiful City Hall, excited to be there for the opening night of The Truth of It LIVE with Martyn Iles, and no-one left disappointed.

The program included inspiring music, stories, statistics, Q&A and, of course
The Truth of It LIVE
with Martyn Iles. It was also the launch of “The Download” – a week long training and networking event for young people aged 18-25. This was especially welcomed by the hundreds of young people who attended.

There was so much to ponder after Martyn spoke. One of the highlights of his message was when he addressed racism. He said,

“The solution to racism is found in this: every human being is ultimately of the same race, descended from the same parents. Where do we learn that? Hint: it’s not Darwin’s ‘Origin of the Species’ – the long title of which is, ‘The preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life.’

“By contrast, the Apostle Paul said on Mars Hill, ‘[God] Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God…’”

It was significant that the Truth of It LIVE  tour began in the City Hall of Queensland’s capital city. Many who attended, including Members of Parliament, commented on how good it was to place a stake in the ground for truth in such a pivotal place.

God was honoured and all who attended were blessed. We are so excited for the ongoing impact of The Truth of It LIVE.

Next stop is Sunshine Coast, followed by Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Gold Coast, Mackay, Cairns and Toowoomba. If you live anywhere near any of these towns, don’t miss out! RSVP at www.acl.org.au/ttilive.
