Description: Micah Challenge's annual conference, Voices for Justice, is on again this year.

"In recent years we have seen our Government take some significant
steps in the effort to alleviate global poverty – our aid budget is increasing despite tough economic times, and poverty is present on the political and media agenda more than ever before. But Australia is still not doing its fair share in international efforts to fight poverty. We can’t afford to relax our advocacy efforts now – we must continue to take the cause of the world’s poorest people into the halls and corridors of Parliament House.
At last year’s Voices for Justice gathering, then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd referred to Micah Challenge supporters as “nagging prophets” for our persistent effort lobbying politicians to care about global poverty, and he urged us to continue.

Join hundreds of passionate advocates in Canberra for four days of action, to call for MORE and BETTER aid - Use your voice to ensure environmental sustainability for the poor and to help save the lives of thousands of women and children in the world’s poorest communities."
