It was with great sadness that ACL learned of the passing of the renowned ethicist and friend of ACL Nicholas Tonti-Filippini last Friday, November 7.

Professor Tonti-Filippini was the Associate Dean and Head of Bioethics at the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family in Melbourne.

Professor Tonti-Filippini lived for nearly four decades with an auto-immune disease, which finally took his life at 58.

He was a staunch defender of life, marriage, and family and published widely as a Christian ethicist.
