Victorian Opposition Leader reaches out to faith leaders

While the Lord’s Prayer was the main discussion, he made time for faith leaders to raise other issues of concern and planned to revisit them later in greater depth.

Issues raised included the Liberal party’s support for keeping the Lord’s Prayer to open Parliament, concerns regarding the Change or Suppression (Conversion) Law, and the Equal Opportunity (Religious Exceptions) Law. There was also opportunity to highlight the ongoing concern of faith leaders in regards to Victorian children’s schooling.

We thank God for this positive open door to our state’s leaders and ask that you continue to pray that the Lord will work in us, and through us, to accomplish His will.
