WA: Volunteers share Gospels with Christmas cheer

Christmas shoppers at Armadale Shopping City were delighted by our amazing Canning North Action Team on Saturday, when they distributed the Gospel of John with Christmas cheer!

A group of 25 ACL volunteers, plus several of their children, practiced their carol-singing for several weeks in preparation for this – and the effort paid off. While they sang carols from 10am to 4pm in two hour shifts, others mingled with the shoppers offering them Gospels of John.

By the end of the day they had handed out 1,100 copies of the Gospel of John!

They were even approached by the Program Coordinator of a local retirement village, who asked whether they would consider performing for the old folk at the village.

The team has the opportunity to do this again next Saturday, and closer to Christmas at another shopping centre.

Well done to our Canning North LCO (volunteer leader) Kirsty van Tonder who organised this joyful event!
