Protect Biological Sex

In 2013, Australia removed the biological definitions of “male” and “female” from the Sex Discrimination Act. Most Australians had no idea this change was happening, yet it has fundamentally reshaped how sex and gender are treated in Australian law and public life.

The consequences have been serious and far-reaching. Women’s sport is losing fairness and integrity. Women’s spaces and protections are becoming harder to defend. Healthcare language and data are being distorted to accommodate ideology over biological reality. Children are increasingly being taught confusing ideas about sex and gender in schools, while parents who raise concerns are often dismissed or silenced. Across society, common sense has been replaced with policies that deny the reality that men and women are biologically different.

The Australian Government to restore the biological definitions of male and female in Australian law. Because sex is real. The differences between men and women matter. And laws built on ideology instead of truth are harming women, children, and the foundations of common sense itself.
