This is an urgent meeting called to inform you about a matter of great importance for all Tasmanians. There are moves to introduce oppressive laws that could lead to parents, practitioners and pastors being accused of hate speech for holding traditional biblical views on sexuality and gender. They could even be criminalised for trying to help someone who is confused about those issues. The proposed legislation is even more restrictive than Victoria's notorious Conversion law.
