The Australian-Christian-Lobby-commissioned-report For Kids’ Sake, authored by Professor Patrick Parkinson from the University of Sydney, attracted a considerable amount of media coverage in the last week including features in The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Canberra Times, The Courier Mail, Ninemsn, ABC and The 7pm Project. The ACL’s Managing Director Jim Wallace also had an opinion piece about the same-sex marriage debate published in ABC’s The Drum Opinion website. The ACL was also asked to comment on the changes to the National School Chaplaincy Program and the changes to the National History Curriculum replacing the terms BC and AD.
