Jackie Trad and the Queensland Department of Health’s Abortion Fact Checker is blatant propaganda said the Australian Christian Lobby.
“All it does is continue to perpetuate the radical ideology of Jackie Trad,” commented Wendy Francis, ACL’s state director.
“The fact checker states that it’s false to say the proposed abortion bill allows a termination at any stage of pregnancy. But then goes on to outline abortion options before and after the 22-week gestation period.”
“It is impossible to understand how the Department of Health doesn’t consider that as allowing abortion until full term.”
“ACL is extremely disappointed with the radical nature of Jackie Trad’s bill and the accompanying dishonesty being publicly displayed by the Department of Health,” said Mrs Francis.
