QLD LNP votes to not change abortion laws

At the weekend Queensland LNP state conference passed an important motion rejecting any attempt to change the current abortion laws, a move that is supported by Australian Christian Lobby.

ACL Queensland director Wendy Francis said, “It is fantastic to see the LNP supporting the right to life for even the youngest Queenslanders.”

“Senator Amanda Stoker said it well when she told the convention that “a society must be judged by the way it treated those who could not speak for themselves”, I join her in these sentiments and congratulate the LNP for championing the importance of life.”
