National Days of Action, 28–30 September
Thank you for joining us!
This is a NSW targeted campaign running midweek, Tuesday – Thursday, 10am – 3pm (local time).
During a state lockdown designed to save lives, Independent MP Alex Greenwich announced his assisted suicide draft bill which would make death approvals accessible in just 5 working days.
You’ll be calling ACL supporters in NSW, talking them about euthanasia, and connecting them with their local State MPs who are soft or undecided on this bill. Supporters may also be contacting Parliamentary leaders, reminding them of their promises.
There are many problems with euthanasia, and we will go through some of them in training. There is the problem of wrongful deaths, the need for more palliative care particularly in rural and regional areas, and the issue that many people choose euthanasia because they feel like a burden to their family and friends.
It’s so important we stand together because life is sacred.
Please choose your training session below.
We’ll provide a briefing on the campaign followed by training on phone canvassing and the vital skills of persuasion and political campaigning.
If you’re already experienced in phone canvassing and ‘patching’, please still join us for the briefing at the start. Training times are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
