Residents of Anchorage Alaska were asked last week to vote in a municipal referendum to make sexual orientation and gender identity a protected class under the city’s law.

Before we consign this to the ‘only in America’ file, we need to realise that these ideas are filtering in to our politics as part of the current review of Commonwealth anti-discrimination laws.

Thankfully the idea, known as Proposition 5 was resoundingly defeated 58 per cent to 42pc by the good citizens of Anchorage despite big money being poured into the campaign by the gay lobby.

Citizenlink in the United States produced this eight minute video which explains the agenda of those pushing for people to be defined by their sexual attraction or what gender they think they might be regardless of their physical gender.

It is vital that here in Australia that we are aware of this agenda and where it might lead.
