Six prominent Australians have joined ACL Managing Director Jim Wallace in urging action to protect marriage in the lead-up to the Australian Labor Party’s National Conference in early December.
ACL has helped establish a new online petition
urging delegates to the ALP conference not to change the Party’s stance on marriage, which backs marriage between a man and a woman.
Sadly, there are attempts within Labor to use the conference to change the definition of marriage in the Party’s policy platform.
To promote the petition, a three minute video
has been produced.
It features Pastors Mark and Darlene Zschech of Hope Unlimited Church, Charmhaven; Dr Peter Jensen, the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney; Labor Senator for Tasmania, Helen Polly; former deputy Prime Minister John Anderson; and Joe de Bruyn, the National Secretary of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association and a member of the ALP National Executive.
Please watch the video
and encourage your pastor to show it in your church. Please pass this on to your friends.
