Associate Professor Patrick McArdle is the Campus Dean at the Australian Catholic University in Canberra. In this interview with the ACL's Katherine Spackman he talks about euthanasia since the debate has re-emerged following news reports that euthanasia advocate, Dr Philip Nitschke, supported a 45 year old man's decision to commit suicide despite knowing he was not terminally ill. Dr David Daintree is the Director of newly created Christopher Dawson Centre for Cultural Studies which was officially launched at Tasmania's Parliament House recently. ACL's Katherine Spackman spoke to Dr David Daintree about the Centre in this five minute interview. The Centre is a type of think tank which aims to encourage critical reflection and research on the history, literature, philosophy and theology that characterize Christian civilization and culture.
