You may have read that last week the Tasmanian Parliament emphatically voted 16 to 8 to rejected assisted suicide and euthenasia.

The Members of Parliament who stood up for the vulnerable, did so in the face of a tough and emotive campaign.

Thankfully this strong message from the Parliament will resonate to other states currently dealing with similar legislation.

Many MPs noted that the sponsors of the bill had 'good motives', however if the bill had passed it would have threatened how we care for the sick and vulnerable.

These MPs stood up for your values, and an email of thanks will make all the difference in encouraging them to continue to fight for what's right.

Could I ask you take 1 minute to thank your local MPs for standing up for your values?

Its as simple as filling out the form below with a quick message of thanks:

  • Please do not add a salutation like 'Dear MP', this is added automatically.
  • Include your name and contact details so your MP knows you live in their electorate.
