At Easter, Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul said the resurrection is so important that if it did not happen our faith is in vain.
But in a sceptical age, can we believe that a man died and came to life again?
Associate Professor Neil Foster, a legal academic at the University of Newcastle, has analysed the evidence for the resurrection from the point of view of the law of evidence. He argues that the evidence for the truth of Jesus' resurrection stands up well according to the rules of evidence used every day by Australian law courts.
