Headlines last week were dominated by the case of Australian scientist David Goodall, who travelled to Switzerland in order to legally end his own life at 104 year old with no significant health complications.

This has brought the euthanasia issue back into the public spotlight and the inevitable discussions about the morality, the wisdom, the sense, the rightness and the wrongness of allowing somebody who is tired of life to end it all.

In this week’s Voice for Values, Martyn Iles speaks with Professor Ian Olver about the important issue of euthanasia in light of David Goodall’s decision.
