Victoria’s annual ‘March for the Babies’ will be held on Saturday October 9 in remembrance of the shameful day on October 10, 2008 when the Victorian Parliament passed the Abortion Law Reform Act - one of the most extreme abortion laws in the world.
More than 20,000 babies – representing one in three pregnancies – are killed in Victoria every year. Participants in the march are expressing their profound disapproval with the Victorian Government’s failure to:
• Protect the fundamental right to life of every person in the state.
• Offer real help to women in crisis pregnancies, and others who have suffered through abortion.
• Allow freedom of conscience for Victoria’s health care professionals.
The goal of the march is to overturn Victoria’s abortion laws and provide full legal protection to vulnerable unborn Victorians.
Victorians are encouraged to join in the march which starts at Melbourne’s Treasury Gardens at 2 pm and ends at Parliament House. The event will include inspirational speakers and music with a message of courage and hope.Start Time:
