What a remarkable weekend ACL’s grassroots army of volunteers had!

From Friday 31 July – Saturday 1 August the ACL ran three major campaigns all running side-by-side, to help equip our team of grassroots campaigners with new skills to deploy into the field in defence of our Christian values and beliefs.

In all States and Territories, we had close to 100 ACL volunteers calling our supporters to ‘patch them through’ to Senators to encourage them to prioritise religious freedom in Australia. In just two days almost 1000 supporters were ‘patched through’ to Senators, which has greatly contributed to emphasising the importance of religious freedom in Australia. These calls have been noted and will strengthen the Senators’ capacity to champion this issue in the Parliament in the coming days.

At the same time as the ‘patch-through’ calls, other volunteers took time out to speak with another 1,000 of our supporters to offer encouragement and prayer during these days of COVID lockdowns (Galatians 6:10).

Where it was safe to do so, other groups of volunteers hit the streets to deliver over 20,000 brilliant pro-life flyers into key electorates.

Don’t miss out on being a voice for truth! If you’ve not already done so, sign up today to register for our next day of action.
