Communications & Campaign Director

Deadline – 11:59pm, Friday 19th June 2026

The Australian Christian Lobby is seeking an exceptional Campaigns and Communications Director to lead bold, culture-shaping campaigns that restore human dignity to public policy and reintroduce Australians to the beauty, truth and goodness of the Christian worldview.

This is not a conventional communications role. It is an opportunity to help shape the nationalconversation on life, gender, family and freedom — influencing hearts, minds and public policyat a defining moment in Australia’s cultural landscape.

The successful candidate will develop and execute compelling national campaigns that engage Australians across every major platform — from digital media and advertising to grassroots mobilisation, storytelling, social media and emerging technologies. They will know how to build movements, capture attention, persuade audiences and communicate with clarity, creativity and conviction in a noisy and contested environment.

As a key member of ACL’s leadership team, this person will lead a high-performing communications and campaigns function, contribute to organisational strategy, and help position ACL as one of Australia’s most effective advocacy organisations.

We are looking for a strategic and creative leader with a proven track record of building audiences, leading teams and delivering campaigns that change conversations and drive impact. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator, an innovative campaigner and a confident leader who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to combine professional excellence with deep purpose — helping shape the future of Australia through persuasive communication, courageous leadership and strategic influence.

Movement Director
