There is now a petition live on the Tasmanian Parliament website against the radical and oppressive recommendations in the TLRI report which seek to criminalise attempts to care for gender confused children and adults, as well as people who seek help with sexual practices.

The recommendations seek to criminalise caring conduct of parents, siblings, friends, health practitioners and pastoral carers. The petition may be found here.

Please sign this petition and pass it on to as many of your contacts as possible. It is of utmost importance that you do this.

The meetings last week in Hobart and Launceston discussing the TLRI report and its implications were very well attended with about 130 people in Hobart and 150 in Launceston. After Sarah Heys graciously introduced the evenings, I unpacked the impact of the legislation. Professor John Whitehall then comprehensively showed the problems of the “affirmation model” of treatment for gender confused children and so demonstrated the need to reject the TLRI’s recommendations.

Videos and audios of the talks are available on request to [email protected].

Please keep writing emails and letters to your MPs, particularly the Government ones and especially the Premier, Deputy-Premier and the Attorney-General. You may do so by clicking here.

Please also keep ringing and visiting them. This campaign will be only won by prayer and work, prayer and work, prayer and work. Therefore, let’s pray and work, pray and work, pray and work.

Remember 1 Corinthians 15:58, “With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.” (The Message)
