A Call for Change in South Australian Abortion Laws is Gaining Momentum

Today, around 3000 South Australians marched in white in one of the biggest Adelaide rallies on the yearly calendar.

In attendance at the march, Ashlyn Vice, State Director of the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL), said, “Since abortion-to-birth was legalised in 2021, seven healthy late-term babies in SA have been killed in utero to date.

“This is a truly tragic statistic which contravenes the narrative that was peddled by abortion advocates who claimed late term abortions would not happen.

“The pro-life community are motivated and activated. They will not rest until the evil of abortion to birth has ended. 3000 united today to walk for one purpose – to tell our politicians that the value of a human life is not determined by its stage of development. A life is a life, and it must be protected.”

The ACL calls on the South Australian community and its political leaders to work together to end abortion-to-birth provisions and legislate for life.
