Annastacia Palaszczuk’s Labor Government has presided over the most radical social agenda Queenslanders have ever endured.
Commenting on Annastacia Palaszczuk’ resignation, ACL’s Queensland Director, Rob Norman, said “Her reign, as Premier, has ushered in conception to birth abortion laws, flawed affirmation of gender dysphoria through the nation’s first conversion therapy laws, medically assisted suicide with no provision for conscientious objection, and a Births, Deaths, and Marriages Act that allows minors as young as 12 to change their legal sex without parental consent.
“Annastacia Palaszczuk’s resignation will be lamented by few. The arrogance of her government, its routine implementation of omnibus Bills to force through its agenda, and its laissez-faire attitude to the Queensland Parliamentary Committee system has, unfortunately, been a feature of their modus operandi”.
The Australian Christian Lobby calls on the Queensland Labor Party to return to its roots that supported working men and women, Aussie battlers, and the primacy of parents in raising young families.
