“Let Kids Be Kids” billboards expose dangerous treatments to sex confused Tassie Kids

The reactions to the LGB Tasmania “Let kids be kids” billboards have revealed the dangerous practices to which Tasmanian sex confused kids are subjected, according to The Australian Christian Lobby.

ACL’s Tasmanian Director, Christopher Brohier said, “The promoters of these dangerous practices have been forced to admit that Tasmanian kids are given puberty blockers and ‘gender affirming hormones’.  These treatments are entirely experimental and produce irreversible and harmful consequences such as hampering young peoples’ executive intellectual and emotional functioning, infertility and osteoporosis to name a few.

“These practices are now severely restricted in leading Western nations such as the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, France and Norway, because they cause irreversible harm to kids. In many of those nations they are only allowed under strict clinical trials. Yet in Tasmania their promoters continue to want to use them on vulnerable kids.

“The ACL calls on the Tasmanian Government to impose an immediate ban on these treatments pending an independent inquiry into their use. Tasmania’s kids deserve no less,” Mr Brohier said.
