Australians reject abortion up to birth laws

The recent global Ipsos survey of over 20,000 people from around 27 countries, reveals that most Australians oppose abortion up to birth laws.

The poll surveyed about 1,000 Australians and found that 61% did not believe abortions should be readily available up to 20 weeks gestation.

The Australian Christian Lobby’s National Director, Politics, Wendy Francis said today “This poll reaffirms that most Australians oppose the radical abortion up to birth laws which exist in all states and territories except Western Australia.

Mrs Francis said “The WA government must listen to the views of its citizens and not change its laws to permit the ending of the lives of viable babies by abortion up until the time of birth.”
