Organ donation ad makes a mockery of Jesus

The Australian Christian Lobby has today criticised an ad promoting organ donation for its comedic depiction of Jesus.

In comments to the media, today ACL’s Victorian Director Dan Flynn said, “The act of Jesus giving his life for humanity is considered one of the most important acts in history for Christians. That it’s being used for comedic and shock value flies in the face of true religious toleration.”

“What other religion would stand for this kind of mockery?”

“There are other ways to promote a cause and get cut through without an advertisement creating unnecessary offence like this,” commented Mr Flynn.
