A father has hit the news for what most Australians would view as responsible parenting. He removed his teenage daughter from Geelong Grammar School rather than have her sharing boarding arrangements with a biological male.
The Australian Christian Lobby (ACL)’s Victorian State Director, Jasmine Yuen said, “This is yet another outcome from the ideologically driven policies of the Victorian Labor Government. Every student has the right to be heard and feel safe at school, and yet it appears that the rights and safety of some students are being compromised. There are many teenagers and their parents who would be uncomfortable with sharing a dorm, and facilities, with a transgender female student who is biologically male.”
The ACL urges Victorian Premier Allan to amend the flawed policy inherited from her predecessor, and give female students back the privacy they deserve.
