The Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) congratulates the Hon. Jacinta Allan and the Hon. Ben Carroll as they take up their positions as the new Premier and Deputy Premier of Victoria respectively.
ACL’s Victorian State Director, Jasmine Yuen, said, “It was encouraging to hear Ms Allan say in her first the press conference as Premier that she is committed to listen, and respond, to the issues that concern all of the people in the State. For too long Victorians who hold to a faith have been sidelined under Dan Andrews’ leadership.
Ms Yuen concluded, “I look forward to engaging with the new-look Labor Party of Victoria and hope for constructive discussions with Premier Jacinta Allan and Deputy Premier Ben Carroll to achieve true equality and inclusivity.”
